The ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards have spearheaded the recognition of business excellence for organisations engaged in direct to-customer retailing across traditional and newly emerging channels. Now in its 19th year, these unique Awards seek to celebrate the achievements of businesses of all scales and at all stages of development.

Entries are judged & evaluated on the entrants’ overall performance taking in the following key areas; positioning and proposition; brand ethos; range; targeting; offers; creative execution; campaigns by channel; customer retention and CRM; recruitment, execution and results; new developments and launches during 2016 and how specific 2016 challenges were met.

4x4AT needed to urgently replace their legacy ERP system and Sage accounts integration, plus six B2B/B2C websites and key integrations with eBay and Amazon sales channels. Time was of the essence with this project as the existing provider of the entire business solution was due to cease trading within the next 12 months.

For the B2B and B2C websites, Magento, the world’s leading, most scalable and flexible enterprise-class ecommerce platform was selected. Only through Magento were we able to replicate existing per website B2B features and provide ease of scale in respect of their future B2B/B2C needs.

Using Magento we could provide 4×4 Accessories Ltd with the custom B2B functionality required across the suite of mobile responsive websites. Our solution offers a high degree of flexibility and control over the user experience, catalogue, content and functionality of all websites independently.
