Our website maintenance plans were created through our customer’s need for affordable website maintenance help. Many already have existing ecommerce and brochure websites, developed by a 3rd party provider; our maintenance plans sit neatly alongside these. All plans are managed via a collaborative online project management system, enabling us to efficiently work with you throughout the life cycle of a request.

Tailored Maintenance

From the outset we design a maintenance plan to meet your onging needs. The plan will include set monthly hours to match your budget divided into proactive and reactive maintenance time.

Proactive Maintenance

This typically covers platform and plugin updates plus anything else you need proactively managed. The remaining monthly time is then available for other task requests you might need reolved.

Project Management

Enjoy real-time transparency of task progression and time spent in website maintenance via our online project management system. We work closely with you as an extension of your business.

Task Approval

Site updates are deployed to a secure staging version of your website for review before being scheduled to go live. Don’t worry if you don’t have a staging site as we’ll help you organise that.

Going Live

Once approved on your staging site, website upgrades and changes are scheduled to go live in line with your business needs. Go live days are Monday through Thursday every week.

How much does website maintenance cost?

Your website maintenance cost varies based on the number of support hours required each month. Under our bespoke retainers, your tailored plan can include as many monthly hours as you need; the minimum cost is £640 +vat which includes 8 hours a month.

Website maintenance plans also become more cost-effective the more monthly hours you need. You can also grow and shrink your retainer with us every 3 months – super flexible.

What happens to any unused hours?

Unused hours, also know as banked hours, can be rolled over into the following month for up to 3 months inline with annual quarters. Banked hours cannot be rolled over into to the next annual quarter and must be used by the end of the current quarter.

It’s rare to have unused hours as customers always have more for us to do, but when it happens they’re safely rolled over and we keep you informed in case you need to shrink your plan in the future.

What kind of response time can I expect?

Our website maintenance service features fast response times and excellent lead times. Response times are how quickly we acknowledge the reuest and reply to you, while the time-frame between receiving and scheduling the task to begin is known as the ‘lead time’.

  • Response times are 4 hours (tasks submitted after 3pm get responded to the next working morning).
  • Lead times are 3 working days or less.

Do I have to host my website with you?

Not at all no, we just need the relevant access to your website hosting, source control, deployment tools and staging sites. Don’t panic if you do not have source control for your website codebase or deployment tools and separate staging sites as we will resolve these issues for you quickly from the outset.

Do you offer custom development work?

We carry out minor onging custom development under your website maintenance hours. If you have a need for somethiing larger that needs scoping as a separate project we can help with that too.
